ABOUT

Matt was born in the UK and grew up in a coastal region where he was immersed in a life around the ocean from a young age. After falling in and out of random jobs in his teens and early 20’s, it wasn’t until around the age of 23 that Matt first picked up the camera, at which point he decided to dedicate all of his spare time to self-taught photography.

 With the Ocean and Photography as his main passions, it seemed a natural process to combine the two and follow his dream.  Since then, Matt has spent the past years traveling the world in search of waves and moments to capture.

Through his artwork, Matt aims to create a sense of connection between the viewer and the natural world, often focusing on dramatic and emotive scenes.
